About creative1z

creative1z was born out of a mom's need to have her children's heritage represented in the clothes they wore. That mom is me, Claudia, and my two children, like many children here in the San Francisco Bay Area, are being raised to be bilingual. I love all the cute t-shirts with clever sayings for little ones, and I feel my children should also be able to have clothes with cute sayings on them in Spanish!

In late 2006 my husband and I were talking on the way home from a department store, and I was bemoaning the fact that other than "I love mom" and "I love dad", I couldn't find many sayings in Spanish on kids' clothes. He turned and said to me, "why don't you make them yourself?" -- and thus the idea for creative1z was born.

We expanded our collection to include fabulous aprons made with sturdy decorator fabric and Scotchgarded - they are a joy to wear!
